Quite an odd title of an experience, but its an interesting one and the turning point of my life!
6th May 2013,
It was a day of celebration as my Cousin Sister, the most loved one in the family members was tying a knot.
While all where in joy dancing on the stage, I was lying with a stomach infection on the day of marriage in room "207" of my hotel. Namely Galaxy! Me and my family, my parents where booked in the hotel room no 207 for five days and it was the second last day of our stay with us checking out tomorrow morning and shifting to my Granny's house nearby.
While I gained a bit of confidence and decided to visit the marriage, I decided to give a surprise to everyone specially to my mother who would be the most happy among the crowd of hundreds that knew me. I soon call up the driver and drive to the marriage venue. There I spot the love and the support of my life, my mother who was tired and was in full sweat after dancing in full swing in marriage.
I knew my surprise would have surely boost up all her energy levels. I slowly walk towards her come from behind and keep my hands on her beautiful and delicate eyes and whisper in her ears "Guess who?"
Within a second, she hugs me, kisses me on my cheeks, and whispers me back, there you go, my boy has come. Beta you have made my day. Inspite of knowing that I would be arriving her, she behaved as if she was unaware of the surprise. A true mother. Dressed up in her favorite Kurta and Pyajama she blesses me with all her power and love.
Later as I start visiting the other relatives specially the newly wed couple, all express a feeling of joy but nothing matched the feeling I felt in my heart. The feeling of my mother. Probably it was the last feeling and I had to wait for another birth to get such.
I then quickly go for a photo-session of myself and then with the couple. But then soon my body triggers the alarm that I just woke up from a stomach infection. I then sit down with all my body energy levels back to zero and then enjoy the conversation with my Masi(my mothers elder sister).
After my mother being tired we return back to the hotel room no "207" leaving the marriage venue and skipping the marriage that was schedule around 3am in the morning. As we return back to the hotel, we all where tired and needed some sleep to regain our body levels. We switched on the Air-Condition to make the room to settle down at an acceptable temperature. While we where preparing to sleep, my mother wishes me Goodnight and gives me a kiss on my cheeks and says me to relax and phrases that- "Whatever happens, happens for a good cause".
We all went for a sleep, the next morning, my Dad wakes up the first and takes a glimpse of an early morning sunlight, lighting up room no "207". Slowly I wake up but my mom is still asleep. She grabs my hand in deep sleep and tells me to love her and massage her head as it was paining and tells me that- "Now shes done with her wish and wants to sleep". I never took this seriously.
As the sun brightens up and time was slipping away to checkout of room no "207", I try to wake up my mother, inspite of my hundred attempts to wake her up, she still remains sleep in silence as if she was away from the world. Panic attacks me and my Dad, we try to wake her up but when she didnt responded, I broke down thinking whats going on and there's no one to support. Soon we call up our relatives and they help us both emotionally and physically, My mother is soon shifted out of room no "207" and was taken to hospital for diagnosis.
Room no "207" second floor, Galaxy hotel, Aligarh. Not only a room but a divine place for me, last words and last memories, last time I saw my mom awake, Last time I saw her sleep, I have each and every emotion attached to that room and I guess it will always be a special one to me.
Mom I miss you so much, wish that night would never turn into day and you would never leave my soul and it wouldnt have been a dooms day. Maa I miss you so much that I cant express it. You have given me a goal to achieve but whenever I achieve even a percent of it, I break down in tears because I dont have you to celebrate with me! :(
