Boarding- Air India to Delhi

                     Boarding- Air India to Delhi.

It was a lovely morning in Indore and I had just peeped out of the window to have a look at the beautiful sun. As the hour and the minute hands of the clock tick by I realize my I was late to board my flight to Delhi. Being excited about the holiday trip to Delhi after a long one week semester examination I rush down the stairs of my hotel towards my cab along with my friend who was flying to Mumbai.

I fit my suitcases in the cab and we leave the hotel at 6:45am. The departure of my flight was 7:50am and the distance between my hotel and the airport was approx 12kms which took almost an hour to reach. Being worried about missing my flight, every possible point where we slowed down and every signal we took a halt my heartbeat used to shootup to a top speed of a royal enfield.

Somehow we reach the airport at 7:30am sharp and T-20minutes for the takeoff. I rush into the airport not even caring about my luggage as I just throw them on the airport trolly and rushed towards the counter to collect my boarding pass. As I reach near the counter I notice something that did shocked me and for a second made me realize that there was no way I was going to catch my Air India flight. The waiting line for the boarding pass on the Air India counter was hugh and long. The indicators displayed and the announcements were made- “Passengers traveling to Delhi onboard Air India are requested to proceed for the security check-in”. It also displayed my flight to depart right time.

It was 7:40 and I reach the counter to collect my boarding pass. Oops another obstacle was waiting for me. I had exceeded my luggage weight and they refuse to give me the boarding pass until I paid the extra amount for the extra luggage. With the guidance of an Air India official I was taken to the Air India booking office where I had to pay the extra amount. It was 7:45 and it was just 5mins left for my flight to leave me behind and continue its journey for Delhi.

As I was getting panicked at the ticket counter I get the first good news of the day. The incoming Air India flight from Mumbai which soon continued to Delhi was yet to touchdown and there was a delay in the departure and was reschedule to depart at 8:30am. It was the first moment where I took a deep breath and relaxed myself. But I knew my job wasn’t finished.

I pay the extra amount and then soon rush back to the ticket counter to collect my boarding pass. Like a boss I break the massive line where the AI officials were pleased to see me relax and they hand me my boarding pass. And here comes the second good news for the day. The seat allotted to me was 9F. One of the window seats where you can have a glance at the engine as well as the wing of the aircraft. Not to forget it was also my most preferred seat while flying to any destination. I soon rush to the security check in where I finish all the formalities.

It was 8:15 by then and as soon as I finish my security check in the Air India officials come rushing towards me and make a peaceful yet a loud announcement-“Passengers traveling to Delhi by Air India Flight are requested to proceed towards the Aircraft through gate no 3”.

And my excitement levels made me forget all the obstacles I faced just few hours back. Being an aviation enthusiast I was excited for the Air India Aircraft I was about to board. As I proceed towards the bus out of the terminal building the lovely Air India staff bid me a goodbye and wish me for a safe flight.

As the bus left the terminal the excitement level reaches its peak. Soon I could spot the Air India aeroplane standing at the end of the parking bay. As we reach near the aircraft. My eyes were full of happiness the aircraft was an Airbus A320-200 VT-ESE double bogie. I have flown many times on an Airbus A320 but every journey makes me as excited as it is my first.

As soon as I enter the aircraft the Air India Air Hostess great me with a beautiful smile. Soon I get seated and we departed Indore Airport bound for Delhi. Those engine sounds when the aircraft thundered down the runway at full throttle were music to the ears.

We soon reach the height of 35,000 feet and I enjoy the morning scenario over the land below the universe. Those cloud formation, the sky textures. It made me feel that I was not flying but having a joyride in the heaven. I could feel every movement of the aircraft. Every turn, every jerk, every scene, every cloud was a pure bliss.

And there I go. Another disappointment was on my way. Expecting the hot omelette which is my favourite meal on the Air India flights I was lead down when the crew member served tea and cookies to me. The cookies were yum but they couldn’t serve the hunger rats which had taken shelter in me and were desperate to attack the omelette once it completed all the check points and had reached the digestion section of my stomach.

But I soon forgot my hunger as I distracted myself to the beautiful scenario outside the small window. It was just when I was about to sleep the captain makes an announcement- “Ladies and Gentlemen we are soon going to land in Indira Gandhi International Airport New Delhi. Please fasten your seatbelt”. It was the time to end the journey. We soon begin to descend towards Delhi airport and were on a final approach. The captain soon announces-“All stations clear for landing”.  We took some turns and ups and downs. The houses and the streets were of the size as that of an ant.

The massive Airbus A320-200 touches down fast but smooth. The landing always fascinates me. No wonder the crew was well trained. It was the best landing I ever experienced on any flight. As the aircraft comes to a complete stop so was my journey. The crew gives us a pleasant smile and wishes a good day.

I soon collect my luggage and move out of the terminal T-3 where my journey had come to an end. As soon as I moved out of the airport on my way to my relatives place I see aircraft taking off to another heaven joyride, to another experience of lifetime.

Puzzle of Life.

                                 Puzzle of Life

Life is a great challenge. You never know what’s going to happen next. You never know will it be good or will it be bad. You never know will you live the tomorrow or today is your last.

All you do is worry of what’s going to happen next without even caring about what’s going on now. Your past defines your present and your present defines your future.

Life is a puzzle and there is a way to sort it out. Each and every piece should be placed at a proper place. There should be no worry in life.

Life is already complicated. Worrying about it makes it more complicated which only leads to shattering of your own self-confidence of your own ability to think. It leads to a lot of negativity. Better keep it short and simple without getting into too much complications.

To make your life easy and to be happy stop expecting things which you know cannot happen because they are not bound to. Extreme expectations do lead to disappointments. Without any hard work or achievements its irrelevant and selfish of one to expect things to happen.

It’s better to appreciate rather than expect. Appreciating is a best way to overcome your fear, tackle your problems, boost your self -confidence. All the bad and good things in your life should better be appreciated rather been complained about.

It’s a life cycle. Good and bad things tend to occur in your life. Never loose hope, never lower your self-confidence, always be satisfied, never expect the un-expected. Help yourself first instead of asking for help. This not only will boost your ability to achieve but makes your struggle successful. Self-confidence and self-ability are the two most important aspects in one’s life.

A person should always keep himself as the first priority in taking decisions in order to achieve the desired goal. Giving too much importance to someone who doesn’t deserve that attention and love will surely hurt an individual but hey nothing to worry remember it’s a cycle of life.

Life is always fair, it’s your own decisions and your own problems and your own low self esteem which makes it unfair for you. So in the end stop blaming your life and enjoy the present without any worry and hope for future.

Ek Hath Dosti ka :D

                                    "Ek Hath Dosti ka"

Ek hath dosti ka! The title of the blog means Friendship. Its a beautiful relationship created by god. Its not a relationship based on blood but only on thoughts and feelings. Its a relationship with no intentions. Friendship is beautiful.

I have been making many friends since childhood age. Many left while many changed. I came to know that no one stays the same and no one stays the permanent. The give you good and bad moments. Friendship is a relationship to be enjoyed in the present with no thinking of the past and no worries of the future.

Every friend I made was different. But this one friend I made was special, different, exceptional. In short a one and only one piece. Those days where tough, emotional, depressing. I had almost given up. Just when I was above to fall down in this tough and emotional time period, I meet this friend.

Every friend pulls you up from bad times and then motivates you to move forward. But this friend was different. This friend pulled me up and instead of motivating me made me realize my mistakes, slapped me hard with words when I sat crying on those mistakes and then made me move forward slowly one by one as if I am a small kid.

From that day I realized that this friend was different, the bond was more stronger and it was going to be a tough yet beautiful path ahead. Time passed by the change got faster and the bond got stronger. Every boulder was pushed away.

Times became good. Smiles lasted longer time, laughter was enormous, incidences where funny, chats were blushing, compliments were flirty, change was positive. Moments were priceless. Those every seconds spend with you, those every laughter shared, those every fights. Certainly the time of my life

I thank this friend, who has not just made me positive but made me trust on friendship again. I thank my friend for all those beautiful moments and all the amazing times(Good and bad) That have been shared. I thank this friend for making me live again, for rebuilding me. Also thank you for letting me learn new english words.

I dont know how long this bond will last, I dont know if we will be friends forever, all I know is I share the most strongest and the most deepest bond with this friend. Friendship is the present happiness and this happiness made my life beautiful. Thanks a lot dear friend for being there and for all these moments. 4 months back the journey had started. I wish to continue with this bond forever but destiny may have something else. That smile on your face will surely be priceless. Thanks a lot for everything. Lots of love with a tightest hug! <3

Your Friend,
Aseem! ;)

Journey to Remember- 51DN Bombay Rajdhani Express.

"Being a rail enthusiast, a rail journey is not just a journey to reach destinations, its a memory. A memory which I wont be able to forget till my last breath. "

Finally the day had arrived when I was going to board the 51DN now the 12951DN Mumbai Rajdhani Express after 10 years. Hectic schedule from 4months. Board Exams and entrances. Everyone deserve a break and so did I. Instead of sitting back at home, I decide to visit my relatives and decide to board the Rajdhani Express.

I reach Mumbai Central well before time. I saw the Premium Express getting ready to leave Mumbai bound for Delhi just 40minutes before time. My train gets shunted and on platform-1 of Mumbai Central. The journey was more exciting as I was booked in Air Conditioned First Class. My coach was H1. Getting settled into the Cabin as soon as the rake was shunted, I come to the door to see off my dad who was there to drop me.

The clock ticked 16:40hrs and my 51DN leaves Mumbai Central bang on time with Ghaziabad WAP7#30235 in lead. WAP7 is the most powerful locomotive on Indian Railways. Soon we cruise through each and every suburban station at a good speed and being in First AC I was expecting some top quality food service. Soon the snacks were served. Cheese Sandwich, Tea/coffee, cashews, gulab jamun were in the menu. Soon we leave Borivali the first halt for the mighty King. The WAP7 showed its true power and one of the best accelerations. We cruise through every station at flat 120km.ph after Virar. We were soon served soup before Surat. There were two options available one being the regular Tomato and one was Sweet Corn. We depart Surat the second halt for 2951 Mumbai Rajdhani and head towards Vadodara.JN Delayed by 12min.

Cruising at MPS we halted many times in between with full clearance. During that time we were served Dinner. One of the finest food on Railways. It consisted Paneer Capsicum, Aloo Gobi, Dal, Rice, Chapati's, Curd, Pickle, Ice Cream. Being aware of the fact that the food for passengers onboard 1AC is cooked onboard the food was upto my expectations. Soon as we finish dinner we reach Vadodara.Jn the third halt for the King. The halt was slated for 10min and we were running 6min behind schedule. But we waited for more than 20min. Soon the news was reported to the Guard that it was a loco failure. I soon get down and rush towards the locomotive which was to be coupled exactly at the other end of the train. While rushing past every coach I had set in my mind that it was going to be a Vadodara based WAP5 locomotive since they hold WAP5's and have them in plenty of number.

As soon as I reach the other end, I saw a beam of light heading towards us and I was sure that the replacement locomotive had arrived. And then came the turning point of the journey. The most unexpected link powered our 12951 Mumbai Rajdhani. Ghaziabad WAP5#30011 "Navodit" which was the link of Trivandrum Rajdhani was given the duty to haul our Rajdhani. Seeing a WAP5 loco coupling to my train at Vadodara made me nostalgic when few years before this was a regular scenario.

Soon we proceed for Delhi and we faced a heavy delay of 1hour. Being the top most priority holder on the Mumbai-Delhi route we soon came to MPS and were ripping through each and every station. While in the meantime I make my bed, jump on the upper birth and go to sleep. I woke up at 2am and found that we were ripping through MPS again and then went to sleep again. Finally I woke up at 4 and we were at Kota.Jn the 5th halt for the King and Ratlam being the 4th. Now was the time for some amazing speed journey. We leave Kota at 4:10 in the morning delayed by 50 minutes. Soon we get back to MPS and now the MPS(Maximum Permissible Speed) was 130km.ph.

Being the top priority holder we soon rip each and every station. Seeing me in the corridor for a long time, the guard which was in the next coach comes to me and asks me if I was comfortable, I soon tell him that it was too cold in the cabin and it was making me uncomfortable. With the attendant asleep and not listening to my requests I could not do anything but come out and make myself warm. On listening to his the guard was disappointed and he soon wakes up the attendant in rage and orders him to lower down the cooling. Soon I am on my berth again. But with the sun rising up, I couldnt control myself and I walk out again and open the door. The early morning water droplets smashed my face as if they are some stones and there I came to know that we were hitting 130km.ph . We rip through each and every station, each and every curve, each and every bridge, each and every Level Crossing. Just slowed down on stations which had PSR(Permanent Speed Restrictions ) and TSR's(Temporary Speed Restriction). We soon reach Mathura.Jn and skip slowly at 6:56 hours in the morning. Kota-Mathura flat 2hours:46minutes with an average speed of 117.10km/ph . One of the best runs of 12951 Mumbai Rajdhani.

We were served the morning tea/coffee and with special request we were able to have the Pantry made Masala Chai(Tea) which surely woke up everyone. As we cleared Mathura we gain speed and hit back to the MPS speed as well. At Vrindavan Road we cross the fastest train on Indian Railways Bhopal Shatabdi hauled by WAP5 locomotive. We were soon served the first course of Breakfast which had Cornflakes and fruits in the menu.

After finishing the breakfast I move out of my cabin and adjust myself on the door again with my camera. After ripping each station at MPS, we slow down at Rundhi Outer. I soon see an WAP7 approaching us. As we approached the LC, LGD WAP7#30345 hauled Karnataka Sampark Kranti Express crossed us. We crossed Rundhi as a snail pace. Maybe a TSR or an open level crossing. As soon as we started to gain speed, I head back towards my cabin for the next breakfast course. The breakfast had Hot Breadcutlets, Hot and Crisp French Fries, Orange Marmalade, butter and tea. We rip through Asaoti at 140km.ph running bang ontime.

Running ontime, we soon were given the third line from Faridabad till Okhla. We cleared every station at a moderate speed and crossed H.Nizamuddin at a good speed. We were about to end our journey really soon. We pull in New.Delhi railway station at sharp 8:40am delayed by just 5minutes and covering a total delay of 55minutes. Hats off to all the controllers, to all the crew and the coach attendants for such a memorable experience. Walking out of the station, I quickly turn around with a feeling to board the train for another journey but it was time to get going. :)

Its an era of "Pout Faces"

It's an era of "Pout Faces"

21st century has lead to inventions of not only technology but also socially attracting things. Yes for me I can term the 21st century the era of "Pout Face" or you can say the duck face.

For people who believe in explanation through definition, here's what google says about the "POUT"

"A term used to descibe the face made if you push your lips together in a combination of a pout and a pucker, giving the impression you have larger cheekbones and bigger lips."

"Oh christ, look at that horrific duckface"
"Stop doing that duckface. You look stupid"

I agree to the above given example. Pout face eh? In this generation most of the pictures I have seen are of a pout face. Why to spoil a good picture? Why not show your natural beauty? Is it because you dont have one or is it because you are stuffed with one? I mean a beautiful picture gets spoiled because of a pout. Because its not natural.

Like the above picture. Just look at her. She's so beautiful. But the pout spoils it? Example of stuffed beauty? Hahaha. Can be. PS- No Harsh feelings madam, just expressed my thoughts. But you really look beautiful without a pout. :) Lets get back on the topic. As I said a natural smile or even a random pose would have done the magic which is done by a bottle of shiraz wine.

Wow :O Found something unusual. According to the scientist the pout makes women feel more younger.

Sight of relief for those women who strongly opposed my blog and my thoughts from the beginning also have a valid point to challenge my topic. Hahaha. Why be fake? when your natural beauty does the magic no one else can do. :D

In today's time. New inventions come with some trolls. Found some on google.

If we have a look at the above picture properly. Compare a pout picture. You can see the difference. Having noodles also forms a pout on your face. So is pout related to noodles? Hahah? Was the inventor of pout having noodles while he/she thought of something new? Well is this the story behind the history of pout? I guess no. This was just a random assumption. Rest great stories are better untold.

Making a pout face or lets say a perfect pout face is not an easy task either. Takes a lot off effort. First try to match your pout with your hairstyle. Then try to make your pout perfect. Try to analyze the editing. Try to make it better then others. Requires hardwork and a phone with a big memory space. But in the end the results are somehow like this

I rest my views on the "Pout"

      One last Message for all

         Ladies and Gentlemen,

It is always said that you look the best and you reflect your personality when you are natural. Don't be fake to others because in the end you fake yourself.

"Just a second to change your life"

"Just a Second to change your life"

Life is a series of ups and downs and it takes a second to get your life off the track, get it to a new phase to a new sunshine to a new darkness. We never know. Misunderstandings are the root cause of the life getting off the track. Misunderstandings has affected life of many people. People who were once so important are now of no importance. Misunderstandings just take a second to change your life.

Well it maybe acceptable to someone but everyone cannot accept the fact that the golden thread of friendship is disturbed by a misunderstanding. People cannot accept the change which has occurred in a second. It takes a long time for people to accept the change and move on. A change is not always negative, it may also be positive. It depends on the way you accept the change and move on. Sometimes the change also leads to enmity between two people who once loved and cared for each other.

The change can be negative as well as positive but every change in life makes you more mature reveling the true fact of life. We loose our friends and our relatives that's just because life wants us to get matured and it teaches us a lesson that "In the End its just you who faces the death".

It was like Yesterday.....

                               "It was like Yesterday....."

"It was like yesterday you were there with me

It was like yesterday you surprised me

It was like yesterday you hugged me

It was like yesterday you sang songs for me

It was like yesterday you made me sleep in your knees

It was like yesterday you blessed me

It was like yesterday you scolded me

It was like yesterday you came shopping with me

It was like yesterday you and me watched a movie

It was like yesterday I saw your eyes filled with dreams for me

It was like yesterday you kissed me

It was like yesterday you stood besides me

It was like yesterday you loved me

It was like yesterday which is today a dream for me

It was like yesterday and a year has passed and so quick so fast

Life has changed a lot, but the tears which stream down through                          my face never stops"
